A simple, all-purpose sale contract you can customize and download in minutes

A sale contract is the agreement a seller and a buyer sign to record the sale of something ; goods, products, digital products or software. This template is a clear, plain-English format that works across product types: it sets out exactly what is being sold, the price and payment terms, how and when the items are delivered, when ownership and risk pass to the buyer, and the basic warranties that protect both sides.

Just answer a few simple questions - the seller's and buyer's details, a description of the items and quantity, the price and payment terms, and the delivery details - and your personalized sale contract is generated instantly, ready to download as PDF or Word.

What this sale contract includes

- Clear identification of the Seller and Buyer

Who is this sale contract for?

Small business owners, freelancers, online sellers and software vendors who want one straightforward contract they can reuse for many kinds of sales. Because it is jurisdiction-neutral and product-agnostic, you choose the governing law and simply describe the items, so the same format works whether you are selling equipment, inventory, a digital download or a software licence.

Disclaimer: This template is provided for convenience and general information only and is not legal advice. Sales, consumer-protection, tax and software-licensing rules vary by country, state and product type. For high-value sales, regulated goods, or complex software licensing, have the final contract reviewed by a qualified lawyer before signing.
