Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Docuzina Ltd. ("Docuzina", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Docuzina website and document generation service (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By accepting these Terms, you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
3. Description of Service
Docuzina provides an online platform for generating professional documents using pre-built templates and AI assistance. The Service allows you to create, edit, download, and send documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and other business documents.
Important — Not Legal Advice: Documents generated through the Service are provided for informational and general business purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Template documents may not be suitable for every jurisdiction or situation. For legally binding or high-stakes matters, you should consult a qualified professional.
4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing
4.1 Plans and Pricing
Docuzina offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis at the rates displayed on our Pricing page. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Credits
Some features consume AI credits or download credits. Credits are allocated per billing period and do not roll over unless explicitly stated in your plan. Additional credits may be purchased separately.
4.3 Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file for the renewal amount. We will send a reminder email before each renewal.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then.
4.5 No Refunds
All fees paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
4.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase, and the increase will take effect at your next renewal. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or misleading documents
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of Docuzina or any third party
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract the source code or content of the Service

- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code into the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice for violations of this section.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business or personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
6.2 Your Documents
Documents you generate using the Service are yours. You own the output, and we do not claim any rights over the specific documents you produce. You grant us no rights to your generated documents beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g., storing and delivering them to you).
6.3 Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Documents generated will be legally valid or sufficient for your specific jurisdiction or situation
- Any information or content provided through the Service is accurate, complete, or up-to-date
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Docuzina, its directors, employees, agents, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, reputational harm, or legal costs arising from documents produced using the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Docuzina and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms, non-payment, or prolonged inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
14. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Docuzina regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
